Stop in after work...for quick beer and wings.

Went there for wings and wine. The wings were okay but the wine and service were excellent.

I can't believe all the whining in the previous reviews: I came in during a busy Thursday and was greeted and seated immediately. I was flying solo so I asked to sit at the bar. Katie was super attentive and asked me if I needed another beer at that perfect moment that only good barmen can sense. 2 beers, wings and a pan of fries later, I was a happy man.Kalisha (manager) was just as great checking in on me also.Looking forward to them opening one in New Westminster one of these days.PG

Really good food and amazing service. However I do feel that the appy the "nickel burger" looks like a burger that the chef quickly ran to McD and bought a double cheese and then served it to you at a higher price

Excellent selection of beers and probably the best prices on the north shore. 6 rotating taps and a menu that has a bit of something for everyone. The large patio is going to be a huge hit during the summer especially with the bar and tvs for sports outside. The only problem is that it can get very busy sometimes, and service may suffer as a result.

Great new place. Food was excellent. Service just as good. Nice modern decor. Definitely recommended.

Hey guys go there and sit at the Bar counter the bar tenders are extremely friendly and exceed professionalism.

We had a great time here for brunch! The service as great, food was awesome, a decent patio setup, and a great menu. It's clean, relaxed and has a great selection of local beers. Based on our experience, a solid place top to bottom. Will definitely return. Should be rated much higher.

I was pleasantly surprised by this place. Went there yesterday with a friend. Gotta the hummus plate as a starter, it was delicious! I got a veggie burger, which is made of mushrooms and brown rice, I subbed it with vegetarian kebabs. I did not think they would be as good as they were. I try to eat healthy when I eat out, it was definitely a surprise that such a place offers such healthy meals for health conscious eaters like me :) Thanks for an awesome time, I will definitely be back!

Good location and outdoor seating but not very neighborhood friendly. With all the great north shore breweries not one available!!

The food here has never disappointed me. I come here once a week now. The drinks are always delicious. Ang is awesome, she's a natural no BS waitress. This place has good staff. Management is doing an excellent job, I sure hope it keeps up!!!

Good newish pub in North Van. We did a bunch of appetizers and some beers. Had the tater tot dish and wings that was all good. Our server was very nice attentive!

Staff were nice and decor is nice, but this is the second time that we've come in and the requested fresh 'aren't available' items outnumber those that are available, plenty of deep fried items 'available' the bathrooms and general up keen needed a bit of attention too | Update nine months after original 2 star review ... still poor, our taco was boring and more batter than taste.... going down to one star

The food and atmosphere were great. The hostess and waitress could have been a bit more pleasant.

My favourite place on the North Shore to grab a drink and a bite to eat. Their rotating taps are always changing and I love how on Tuesdays, beers are $3.00! Their cajun chicken sandwich and beer batter fries are my go-to, but I've tried almost all of their appetizers and they certainly did not disappoint! Service is always friendly and food always comes out quick! Be sure to stop by if you are in the area!

Came here for brunch and it is a great addition to North Van. Quick service and love the wood accents. Hollandaise could have had more flavor but for brunch it was better than Earls!

always enjoy lunch or dinner here. atmosphere pretty good, service polite and professional but it's the food that really shines. I get the sense that the kitchen staff cares and takes pride in the plates that go out

EDIT SEPT 2019: I have to give Chris from the Colony credit, he followed up diligently and as it turns out our next visit was memorable. We were there with a larger somewhat unruly group and the service was great. Will continue to keep Colony in the line-up of local favorites. Changed review from 2 to 4 stars.--- Original Review: Not big on bad reviews but after a few times here cant help but come away with the feeling they dont want customers there. Service is slow. Smiles are rare. Rules are strict. Food was just ok. Carrots with wings are extra $. Feel a bit bad for serving staff as it feels like fun is forbidden by management? Probably will go to Deep Cove Brewery next time (no affiliation).

I had the breakfast poutine. Was way to salty. But the service was great. And the last time I came here my food was way better. I am still giving a 5star because it's very clean. And very good service. Also can't let one meal ruin the visit. I know my last meal before this was way better. That's why I came back. 😋

Modern and clean atmosphere in an oddly located place with beautiful patio for sunny days. Food was good and everyone was so attentive and nice.

Prompt service and atmosphere was very good. Music was kept at a level that you could hold a conversation. I had the fajitas which I have not seen on a menu in a long time. They were yummy.

Awesome. Staff and food are great. Nashville hot chicken sandwich and the grilled avocado bowl are very tasty

Nothing special. Convenient place to grab a drink, nachos and watch the game. Didn’t order any entrees but did get the hot wings, nachos and yam fries. Lots of tvs with different events on each. I’m sure for a big game they would have all of them playing the same thing. Complex has its own free parking.

Visited Colony Bar with few friends today for brunch. We were really impressed. Nice atmosphere with great service and food. Parking is plenty and free. We'll be coming back again.

If you live east of the Seymour, you are used to slim pickings when it comes to restaurants. Was happy when Colony opened as it meant another option. On the first visit food was fast and the staff were very friendly. Chili Chicken and Cajun chicken are actually spicy! Far too many places are very go hum with seasoning on the food. Nice that the food was as advertised. Happy hour specials are great! Great space, nice and open.

One of the best patios in north van. Food and drinks are great. They serve most local beers which is fantastic. The ribs and chicken is killer and brunch menu is fun times.

Nice room, one large open area and three booth/ lower seating areas around the perimeter. A few cocktails and a full bar with rotating beer. Brunch available, dinner, and dessert. Nice natural lighting, patio when it’s sunny and warm. Food is good, but not made from scratch! Prices are fair. Parking lot in back! Good size portions for sides! Hostess and waitresses were friendly and attentive, along with the food service was quick!

Staff was amazing. We sat at a table and were treated very well by the staff, extremely friendly.

Much needed restaurant/bar in a sleepy neighbourhood. Gives the residents of the Seymour and Dollarton/Deep Cove area an alternative to the fast food places without having to leave the area. Menu looks good but the taste of the dishes we ordered could have had more flavour.

This is how you run a business. Unbeatable costumer service, Top notch beers. Better than Browns, Cactus, probably even The Keg. I could easily argue that this is the best place to eat in the North Shore. Prices are normal, Staff are always working hard, if your food is actually bad you can always get another one for free as long as its legitimately bad, never dirty anywhere, etc etc. If you are a local and haven't been here you need to drop everything and go right now. Other Colony locations aren't this good either. (Not saying they are bad tho)

Want to know of an easy way to hit your vegetable quota for the day? Find a place that serves fried cauliflower! We ordered these at @colonynorthwoods and it was oh so easy to devour the whole bowl yourself. 🐽 That should be enough servings of veggies for the day, right? (Tip: If you want to balance it with something healthier, try their Rainbow Glory Bowl! Their Tahini dressing is 💯)

They have pretty decent beers on tap. $3.00 taps on Tuesdays are a huge bonus as well. Good service and good food. Their patio space outside is alright.

Service was excellent and our server was amazing! Went for an early dinner and was utterly disappointed. Fish burger was heavy and greasy. Their fryer oil needs changing because the batter was dark coloured and tasted old. The tired fries tasted like they had been reheated.And lastly, the tiny Greek vegetarian flat bread.....$13!!! The bread was definitely out of a package and put in the oven. It was hard, not crispy and chewy the way flat bread should be. The toppings were meh. I won’t be back. Another pub fail on the North Shore.
